A few of the benefits of water exercise are:

--  It is fun, promotes relaxation and enhances mood.

--  Strengthens muscles and ligaments, aiding in balance and flexibility.

--  Stimulates and regulates digestion.

--  Has positive effects on sensory organs and on brain function.

--  Slows degeneration of joints.

CLASS DETAILS:

 

There are classes for all age groups – for those with no experience or lots of experience. 

 

Pay no mind to your size or shape.  We have them all.  You will fit right in.

 

These are not swimming classes – but one hour day or evening exercise

classes in either shallow or deep water.

You do not need to know how to swim.

 

You may wear a swimming suit or shorts and blouse/shirt – as you prefer.

You may drop in anytime you like at a cost of $3.50* a class. 

Active duty military are free with ID.  Dependents of active duty military cost $1.50*.

 

Locker fee is $.25* for everyone.

 

CLASS DATES AND TIMES:

Day Classes:

 

Monday thru Friday – Deep water classes from 8:30am to 9:30am.  Floatation devices are available.

 

Monday thru Friday – Shallow water classes (moderate level) from 9:30am to 10:30am.

 

Tuesday and Thursdays – Shallow water classes for beginners from 11:00am to 12:00am.

 

Evening Classes:

 

Monday and Wednesday – Shallow water classes (moderate level) from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

 

Friday – Shallow water classes (moderate level) from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

 

                              *NOTE:  Class dates and times and fees are subject to change.  Call (360) 675-7665 before you come to confirm.

 

                                                          You make each class “your own”, finding a pace or speed that is “good for you”. 

                                                                          You may choose to go faster than the instructor or slower. 

                                                                                   Since you are the only one who knows your body,

                                                                   you choose which exercises you wish to do and how you do them. 

                                                                        “Fast” is not better – doing the exercise “properly” is better.

There are so many positive benefits that I have experienced while being a

part of this water aerobics program, but the biggest has been my cardio strength

Because of this, I am able to do so many other physical activities that I love,

while maintaining a high endurance level.

Over the past 7 years I have tried many forms of exercise, have gone to various

gyms and had a house full of gadgets aimed for toning and weight loss. 

However, until I started doing water aerobics, those other methods did not work for me.

Getting in the water was a motivating, positive change in my life. 

My advice to everyone, is “come and try it once,You will never regret it".

Hello – I’m Jodie and I wanted to let you know how water aerobics has helped me. 

I have Lupus and am in pain 24/7.  Being in the pool has changed all of that.

  It has helped my pain, made me feel much healthier and loose 10 pounds! 

The people of all sizes, shapes, and health issues are probably the most inspirational

and fun folks I’ve met in a long time.  So please come join the fun!

Water aerobics give me a great total body workout

I feel energized, no stress or pain to my joints.  I can tone and sculpt my legs,

arms and abs while increasing cardio capacity.  Shedding pounds is a helpful bonus.

I have energy throughout my day adding posture with flexibility to my life.  Come join the fun!

My acid reflux has greatly improved and hopefully my high blood pressure too. 

I am a senior and am more fit than I have been in many years while I held down a job.
